The report ‘Legionella and legionnaires’ disease: a policy overview’ presents the regulatory framework related to Legionella and guidelines for practical application, including policies of international organisations. For EU Member States, other European Countries and non European Countries the report details:

  • The number of reported cases.
  • The legislative framework.
  • National policies for dealing with Legionella and legionnaires’ disease

The EU-OSHA has also published a Factsheet. Linked to the Healthy Workplaces Campaign on Safe Maintenance, the factsheet summarises the occupational aspects of exposure to Legionella and offers good practice examples of how to control Legionella risks.
