The Court of Appeal has rejected Government attempts to overturn last month’s High Court ruling that it’s proposed cuts to Feed-in Tariffs would be illegal.
The High Court has ruled that Government plans to rush through cuts to solar tariff payments are unlawful. This was in response to a legal challenge by Friends of the Earth and two solar firms – Solarcentury and HomeSun.
Householders across the country could get up to £1,250 of government funding to help towards the cost of installing renewable heating systems such as biomass boilers, air and ground source heat pumps and solar thermal panels.
