A landlord has been ordered to pay fines and costs of £8,074.60 for putting tenants at risk by failing to comply with fire regulations for a house in multiple occupation (HMO) in a prosecution by Camden Council.
Two Swansea landlords have been hit with heavy fines after failing to license their properties. Swansea Council is now urging landlords who rent out Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in the city to check if they need a licence.
