Landlord Khaled Ahmed, 36, failed to attend Luton Magistrates Court on 15 October where he was ordered to pay nearly £53,000 for operating an unlicensed, unsafe and overcrowded House in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
A private landlord has been fined £2000 by magistrates after Rugby Borough Council took enforcement action.
