Newham Council have provided details of a landlord who was prosecuted for failing to license a property that was subject to a selective licensing designation. This case is of particular interest because the council made a successful application in the Crown Court for a confiscation order under the Proceeds of crime Act 2002. Newham have provided detailed information on the case which can be found at the end of the article.

Earlier this week we posted an article about a man who fell off a ladder while demonstrating a new safety measure. A YouTube video of the incident was embedded in the article. The video was removed after Mrs Cavanagh contacted theEHP and requested we remove it due to the negative and cruel comments it was attracting on YouTube. In its place you will find a new video preview of a Working at Heights DVD from Safety Media.
