London Fire Brigade have release new figures that reveal the extent of fires in “beds in sheds”. Over the last three years there have been 235 fires – almost one every five days. These blazes have caused four deaths and 45 serious injuries. Read the full story here.

The Food Standards Agency is urging people to be aware of the dangers of liquid nitrogen, following information that it may be being used in alcoholic drinks on sale in the UK.
Food Safety: Vesuvio Pizza fined for Food Hygiene Offences
On Tuesday 25 September 2012, Mr Emre Karahan and Mr Ibrahim Karagoz, joint food business operators of Vesuvio Pizza, 12 The Broadway St Ives were sentenced at Huntingdon Magistrates Court, having previously pleaded guilty at a hearing in August.
