Principal Environmental Consultant
Job Description: URS are recruiting for an experienced Principal Consultant to join a busy Environmental Impact Assessment Team in London.
URS is one of the largest environmental and engineering consultancies in the world. The team provides the majority of the technical disciplines required for EIA, as well as project managing the process for a wide spectrum of projects both in the UK and internationally. Principally projects within the Environmental Impact Assessment Team in London include large scale urban regeneration schemes and high profile infrastructure projects.
The role will therefore ideally call for experience with UK and international urban regeneration and infrastructure projects, leading and implementing EIA activities, experience of working within multidisciplinary teams including with architects, engineers, planners and planning lawyers and understanding environmental best practise guidance / measures, including linkages to sustainable development. The work will involve a range of projects and exceptional candidates could be considered for a Technical Director post, who would in addition be able to demonstrate success in developing profitable client relationships and exhibit business development acumen.
