Night Shift Hygiene Manager | Warminster, Wiltshire
Job Description: Giles Foods is a rapidly expanding food manufacturing business, producing a wide range of own label and bespoke products designed for the Foodservice and retail markets.
Our diverse range of products includes Artisan breads, speciality breads, Pastries, Cakes and Tarts.
We are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Night Shift Hygiene Manager working Monday – Friday.
The successful candidate, a proven hands-on and dynamic leader, will be responsible for ensuring the factory is cleaned consistently to a high standard and waste is managed effectively, in addition to supporting the continuous cost and quality improvements throughout the business.
You will supervise and work alongside a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring nightly, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules are carried out according to plan and procedure at all times.
The role will require you to monitor results and take appropriate actions to drive improvement.
You will also be responsible for motivating & training staff, ensuring that hygiene operations are carried out efficiently and safely at all times.
The successful candidate will possess good leadership & motivational skills, must be an effective communicator at both shop floor and managerial level, and be able to work efficiently under pressure and within budgetary constraints to continuously drive standards.
Previous hygiene or supervisory experience is essential. Experience within a hygiene department in the food manufacturing industry, would be preferred.
A good understanding of food safety principles and chemical awareness would also be advantageous.

Food Technology Teacher
Job Description: Food Technology Teacher required ASAP. The school requires a positive, versatile teacher with an ability to think on your feet. If you have experience using interactive whiteboards this is preferable as the school encourages using ICT in the classroom. The ideal teacher will be influential, inspiring and have proven success at raising attainment in Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.
The department is looking for somebody with relevant CPD in particular you should be up to date with strong behaviour strategies. You must be resourceful and organised. The school will offer support with planning to ensure your lessons are always fresh. Teachers are given the tools to succeed in school and you will be offered mentoring if required.
