Comments and feedback received through this consultation will be incorporated into a final version of the guidance to be released in early 2012.
The guidance provides background material on the issues involved, and details procedures for assessing and managing the effects of CHP on air quality – specifically nitrogen dioxide.
The document covers England and Wales only at present, although the principals and processes the guidance describes will largely be applicable elsewhere in the UK.
