Health & Safety: Farm shop owner fined £10,000 for health and safety breaches
The owner of a farm shop has been ordered by magistrates to pay £10,000 in fines and costs after admitting three separate health and safety offences.
Health & Safety: Tenby landlord sentenced for gas safety failings
A Tenby landlord has been fined for failing to maintain a gas fire safely within one of his properties. David Ian Douglas-Law of Penally, Tenby, was fined £8,500 and ordered to pay costs of £1,500 at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court following a prosecution brought by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Health & Safety: Cheshire restaurant fined for breach of fire regulations
On Tuesday, January 17 the owners of Buffet City Ltd, the company that operates Buffet City on Newgate Street in Chester, was ordered by Chester Magistrates Court to pay a total of £24,067 in fines and court costs. This related to six serious breaches of the Fire Safety Order.
