The HSE have published the latest figures for workplace ill health and injury. The figures show a slight falls in a number of key areas of workplace ill-health and injury.
Food Safety: FSA Research – Consumers of lead-shot wild game meat
The aim of this project was to identify high level consumers who eat large amounts of lead-shot wild-game meat in Scotland and to investigate consumption habits and behaviours of these consumers.
Food Safety: FSA Research – Management of listeria monocytogenes in smoked fish production
This review of current practices in the management of Listeria monocytogenes in the smoked fish sector aimed to develop information for food business operators and local food authorities on the key risk areas from farm to end-product for L. monocytogenes contamination and the monitoring and management of these.
Housing: Brighton & Hove to licence smaller shared homes
Tenants will benefit from improved housing conditions and fire safety while neighbourhoods will be better able to tackle problems such as litter and noise as landlords of shared homes become licensed next week (5 November).
