Luton Council has successfully prosecuted the owner of a food business for littering the pavement.

An eagle-eyed Police Community Safety Officer who spotted large plumes of dark smoke rising from an industrial estate landed a caravan dealership in court on Monday.

Housing: Private landlords reluctant to let to LHA tenants
The latest findings from BDRC Continental’s Landlords Panel research reveals that 15% of private landlords say they will stop offering Local Housing Allowance (LHA) tenancies in response to the government’s changes to the way LHA scheme payments are now being calculated.

Unpaid 12-month training placement for two student EHOs. Structured training across all areas of environmental health departments to complete the ELP. Must have completed the second year of the BSc or the taught modules of the MSc degree. Begins end of September, finish dates flexible.
