In an attempt to provide better information about fatal workplace hazards, Eurostat and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently developed a study comparing fatal work injuries in the EU and the US.
This report details an analysis of Local Authority prosecutions identified or reported to theEHP for the calendar year 2013. The focus of this report is on the financial penalties awarded as a result of Local Authority prosecutions.
In March 2013, Environmental Health Student Ms Anca Stroe posted a questionnaire on the theEHP for her student research project. Having completed her studies, Ms Stroe has kindly made her research available to all.

The HSE have published the latest figures for workplace ill health and injury. The figures show a slight falls in a number of key areas of workplace ill-health and injury.
